WHAT CLIENTS HAVE SAID ABOUT RICHARD WOOD:

I have instructed Richard on various matters…over a period of several years. He is always extremely professional and knowledgeable and has represented my commercial clients successfully…Richard has a very personable manner and his frank, no-nonsense approach is greatly appreciated by clients and inspires confidence. Richard’s technical knowledge of the law is extremely impressive and I frequently instruct him to provide advice, either by way of a written opinion or in conference with clients, on a range of matters. The advice Richard provides is always commercially-focused, practical and relevant to the client’s business needs. He is very adept at explaining complex legal issues to clients in a clear and coherent way. Richard is always happy to provide assistance and advice, often outside normal business hours.”

Joanna Cowie – Solicitor

“Richard was able to quickly adapt to my needs and his ability to change direction at a moment’s notice was key for me. Richard has a particular skill, to be able to understand quickly in tense situations whilst remaining very focused; this creates trust and assurance. For me, two very good jobs well executed. In meetings, Richard has a presence that controls, but does not dominate the room; you know he’s in charge!

Mr Nathan Defew

“Mr Richard Wood was an outstanding barrister to work alongside with, especially when the possibility of keeping my licence was minimal. His efforts led me to acquire the minimum points/fine which resulted in keeping my licence for which I was very grateful. I highly recommend him to anyone with a motoring issue!”

Mr K: Charged with Failing to Stop/Failing to Report an accident: (January 2017)

The help I have received from Richard has been superb, not only has he gone above and beyond my expectations, he has always explained every step of the way in a manner that I can totally understand. There would definitely have been a different outcome in my case if I didn’t have Richard to defend me.”
